Pastor Jones was appointed as the Interim Pastor/Developer by Bishop Gohl in late 2021. He previously served as the Lead Pastor at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick MD from 2016 until 2021. He also served churches in Herndon VA, Burtonsville MD and Washington DC. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Robin Drummond. He has lived in Missouri, Colorado, Minnesota, Virginia and Maryland and has a second home in Panama City, Panama.
He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland and embarked on a career in retail business. The last ten years of that career he was President of Atlantic Beverage Corporation, a beverage and catering company, in Washington DC. Following his business career, he attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg where he received his Master of Divinity with Honors in Theological Ethics.
Pastor Jones is active in the community. He serves as Chaplain for the Frederick Police Department. He is Vice-Chair of the Frederick County Ethics Commission and also serves on the Ethics Panel of the Frederick County Public Schools. He is the 3rd Vice-President of the Sergeant Lawrence Everhart Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. He serves as the Senior Deacon of Philanthropic Lodge 168 A.F & A.M, New Market and a loyal member of the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Frederick. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Frederick and BPOE Elks Lodge #684 in Frederick. He volunteers weekly at Monocacy Elementary School with Blessings in a Backpack and he and his wife are active supporters of SHIP, the Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership.

Meet the Staff
Linda Kuntz is our virtual administrator. Along with her husband, Ray, who serves as the Sunday morning electronics guru for the church, Linda serves the church by coordinating the biweekly Listening to God huddles and serving on several key committees. You will see her at many Living Grace volunteer and outreach activities.
Linda is looking forward to helping Living Grace grow while managing electronic communication.
Outside of her administrative role, Linda enjoys spending time with her family, serving the church, and feeding watermelon rinds to her goats.
Esther Samuelson leads our music with keyboard and voice.
Esther grew up in Texas where she began taking piano lessons at age 8. Together with her six siblings, she grew up regularly singing and making music.
She attended Harding University in Arkansas where she earned a degree in history. After graduating college, she moved to Virginia and then later to Frederick, where she has lived for five years with her sister and two cats. She is a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in downtown Frederick, where she is active in the choir.
Mark Moser is Living Grace's new treasurer and serves on the Church Council.
