The Rev. Michael
R. McQuaid, D.Min
The Rev. Michael R. McQuaid, D.Min became pastor of Living Grace in June of 2017.
Pastor Mike is a native Marylander, who obtained a Masters in Divinity at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg and a Doctor of Ministry in Family and Youth Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. During seminary training, he had ministry experiences in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Delaware. He has pastored in Pittsburgh, PA (1990-94); Columbia, MD (1994-2011); and Linthicum, MD (2011-17).
Pastor Mike and his wife, Carol, have been married for more than 30 years and have three adult children and two young grandsons. They also share their home with Tucker and Molly, their Labrador retrievers.
Pastor Mike has a gentle yet vibrant approach to ministry. His nuanced and uplifting sermons often provide new ways at looking at our own faith and the Lutheran path.
Pastoring since his ordination in 1990, Pastor Mike continues to trust in God to raise up the resources needed to accomplish the ministry at hand as well as the guidance needed to adapt and move with the ever-changing religious landscape.
Meet the Staff
Linda Kuntz is our virtual administrator. Along with her husband, Ray, who serves as the Sunday morning electronics guru for the church, Linda serves the church by coordinating the biweekly Listening to God huddles and serving on several key committees. You will see her at many Living Grace volunteer and outreach activities.
Linda is looking forward to helping Living Grace grow while managing electronic communication.
Outside of her administrative role, Linda enjoys spending time with her family, serving the church, and feeding watermelon rinds to her goats.
Mark Moser is Living Grace's new treasurer and serves on the Church Council.
