A Lutheran - Episcopalian Church
Living Grace Urbana
Inspired by Jesus Christ, Living Grace strives to be a welcoming community that will
love you, serve you, and care for you.

FUNDRAISERS
Through your generosity, we have been able to support the Helping Hands and Caring Hearts food bank, the Ranch and send materials and money to Lutheran Aid services outside the United States.

At times, we host special fundraisers to help support our benevolence.
Current drives
Birthday bag donations for Mount Airy Net
The donation drive will run from May 4th through May 25th 2025.
Please order from the Amazon wish list with the QR code below or purchase items from a store and bring them to church with you. You may also donate money. We’ll have a packing party after church on May 25th to put the bags
together. Birthday bags are gift bags that are given to a family coming in when someone in their family has a birthday.
This is a confirmation project.

Bishop's Appeal

As a diocesan community, we celebrate the many distinct ministries of our 100 congregations, and we come together to tend to additional gaps. There are 11 ministries supported by our annual Bishop’s Appeal, ensuring that our Community of Love broadens to include campers at Claggett, refugees and asylum seekers through ERICA, Spanish-speaking immigrants, youth and college students, Baltimore City high school students in the Sutton Scholars program—and more! Thank you for your ongoing support at the congregational level and through this campaign to benefit additional diocesan-supported ministries.
We are currently accepting donations to the Anne Fix and Chuck Hoffman Outdoor Ministry Fund to provide help to youth attending church camps during the summer. See the Summer Camp schedules on our Children & Youth page.

Please put your donations in an envelope labelled OUTDOOR MINISTRY FUND
or write OUTDOOR MINISTRY FUND on the memo line of your check.
As we plan for the future of MLR and the next generation of outdoor ministry, we are committed to be good stewards of our spaces and resources by:
-
improving accessibility for all visitors and guests
-
refreshing spaces within our existing footprint that will honor our commitment to conservation while better serving our ministry
-
clearing the remaining debt for the reservoir to position MLR for strong financial footing
The Ranch is a men's transitional home that assists in the counseling, recovery and skill development of men with substance dependency. Living Grace will be collecting money and supplies to create kits that contain soap, shaving supplies, towels, etc. If you would like to donate funds, please note: RANCH KIT on the memo line of your check or write RANCH KIT on the outside of an envelope. Use the button below to order supplies from Amazon. Questions about this project? Download the letter or contact Pastor Kris or the Church Administrator.
